What do you think it was, anyways? They even said that whoever it was wasn't coerced. You think it was another accident, or someone just decided to do this?

... I don't know. But... Evan at least made an attempt to rescue Tsurumaru. There's nothing in the evidence this time that points to this culprit doing the same—but on the other hand, it's not like we figured that out with Evan either, until he told us.

That seemed more obviously like an accident, though. This one... It feels like someone really did try to frame at least one person, which doesn't necessarily scream accident to me, you know?

Yeah. Or if it was an accident, then they were enough of an opportunist to take advantage. In which case, not great.

I dunno about you, but we were terrible at figuring out unsolved murders once the trial passed. I'm not sure if we'll ever get an answer until, like, the final week.

We were terrible at figuring out literally any murders at all, so I have very little hope.

We had a pretty big miss rate too. So, no real surprise that we screwed up here.

You know, I kind of assumed it would be easier when they let you wander around to different locations and look at the body, and all that.

Some of us were still terrible at this.

And as nice as having powers sounds on paper, they can make things convoluted fast, as this trial just demonstrated.

Oh, it definitely doesn't sound nice on paper. It kind of seems like a terrible idea in the first place, in fact.

There were probably some people here who got jealous at first.

But honestly, yeah. Aside from the healing ones, I'm struggling to think of when they were used for anything besides murder and other questionable purposes.

I wonder if anybody has a healing one here. I sure haven't heard of one.

Neither have I. Then again, all the ones that could be used for healing in the castle also had drawbacks or limitations, so they weren't things you could just use freely.

Well, everything I've had here has limited weekly uses, so maybe it's like that if there is a healer out there.

I'm getting that impression too. Regardless of the ability, people will want to save it until the last moment, if possible.

That'll probably come in handy when people start coming out of those break ins with lost limbs, at least.
