[She tilts her head.]

There's this guy named Belph in my cabin who came here with one, he told me I could use it if I ever wanted to. I bet he'd let you, too.

Classical. I wanted to like, be a loser and learn how to do modern songs, but...

[ she shakes her head. and then perks up at the mention of belph. ]

I know him. He was at the castle with me.

[Steph has unlocked the one thing she is super nerdy about, and now she can never escape. She is absolutely forgetting about Belph so she can talk shop.]

[ there's a pause, and then she quickly adds ]

And Schumann! One of his pieces was the first I learned, it was really exciting.

Swan Lake's pretty good. Did you get into it through ballet or something...?

[A nod.]

Nah, I did gymnastics later on. But when I was younger I thought it was really... pretty? I guess. But we would have never offered ballet lessons.

Carnaval. I managed to get through all the sections-- kind of. I was only actually good at some of it, and the rest would embarrass you.

Why did you have to quit, though?

... he was like, the only teacher who was affordable enough that my parents were fine with it, and nearby. And he was really sweet, but after a while I didn't really want to hang around men. So I quit.

[ she shrugs ]

And then life happens, and you never get around to picking it up again.
