You... remember the memory you saw of mine? A lot of people have told me that the stuff that happened wasn't my fault, when they learned about it here or at the castle. But Dick was the first person to find out about it who actually... understood the culture of what we come from, so him saying it... he's really important.

...Yeah, I get it. It's one thing to see, like, a snapshot of a situation and say it wasn't your fault. It's another to understand more about it and say the same thing. Like, it means more. Right?

Yeah. I really wanted to make a good impression on him... it was pretty stupid.

And then once we got over that we got to be proper friends.

It's - got to be weird. Like, even if you just met him here, I'm guessing having a general idea of what someone's gone through because you've gone through something similar makes it easier to get close to them.

I know him from home. Or... a Dick. We weren't close or anything, but I dated one of his brothers. The brother who isn't here. But my relationship with them all was... complicated and kind of messy, and it's why I really wanted him to like me here.

But we're still part of the same team.
