The selection of a "randomized" executioner isn't unfamiliar to me, at least. But I'll warn you now, if things proceed as they did before, whoever is closest to the condemned is most likely to be picked.
I'm sure if someone tried and it led to a more traumatizing situation, it would have been allowed! [DEMONS.] But no, nothing like that ever panned through. The executioner was chosen shortly before the execution itself started and no one was able to get in contact with the demons to even make an attempt otherwise.
