[Once she's had a chance to talk to someone in charge and head back to her cabin, she's exploring around the rest of the camp. When she comes to the isolation chamber and sees the cell inside, she just... stands there for a second before letting out a long breath and crossing her arms.

Sure, but - I don't know, it seems pretty weird when they fucked up their portals, it just so happened to take a bunch of people who had experience with this shit. Unless their portal machine is sentient.
